We are thrilled with how our Australian Under Water Hockey teams performed at the 1st CMAS Asia–Oceania Intercontinental Championship in Kuala Lumpur last month!
This inaugural event brought together top underwater hockey talent from across the Asia–Oceania region, and Australia rose to the occasion with determination, skill, and sportsmanship.
Underwater hockey is an exciting non-contact sport in which two teams compete to manoeuvre a puck across the bottom of a swimming pool into goals. The sport has a strong presence across Australia, with a rich history dating back to 1975 when the first Australian Championships were held.
It's been awesome to celebrate and support the sport's growing presence in the region.
