Since 1959, South Maroubra Surf Life Saving Club has proudly patrolled on weekends and public holidays from September to April of every year, with over 1000 members raging from Nippers to senior patrolling members. The club provides a safe beach environment at the south end of the iconic Maroubra Beach, along with fostering many Australian, and Olympic Champions across a wide array of sports. While the clubs primary role is to protect the public visiting the beach, and making rescues where needed. South Maroubra’s Surf Sports program enables members to be fitter, faster, stronger lifesavers while competing at Branch, State and National levels, including Surf Boats, IRB racing, Ocean events, Beach events, R&R and more. 

Delfina have been proud partners of South Maroubra SLSC since 2022, with Delfina Sport replacing the need for the club and its members needing purchase the many swimwear and apparel items from multiple places, making the process for all - simpler, faster and unified. Members are now able to order the full array of club uniform and merchandise simply from a Delfina Sport Club Shop. Delfina Sport love working with South Maroubra Surf Life Saving Club and continuously building into the Surf Life Saving space. Our aim is to continue supporting Surf Clubs around the world as they continue to do tremendous voluntary work on our beaches year-round. Delfina Sport understands and supports the crucial role Surf Life Saving Clubs play in ensuring beach safety and fostering a sense of community. The team actively engages with Surf Life Saving Club members and Clubs to promote the importance of water safety with the dedicated volunteers on our beaches, while also solidifying Delfina Sport's commitment to enriching the communities it serves.

With the Delfina Sport Club Shop, South Maroubra have ensured that all participating athletes attending the Australian Surf Life Saving National Championships are able to receive the club uniform effortlessly. The club also express their interest in a party shirt set for the conclusion of the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships. This was the first party shirt range produced at Delfina Sport and quickly become a major success. After the initial discussion, the Delfina Sport team began the design process incorporating requested club elements. South Maroubra’s sponsorship and merchandise team approved these desgins for members to access via the Delfina Sport Club Shop, before the manufacturing process began. The Delfina Sport team is proud of the recycled materials used in the Party shirt range, also allowing for its excellent sun protection - rated UPF of 50+ by the Australian Radiation Protection. The shirts were quickly received by South Maroubra for its event ceremony and team dinner. The party set brings a fun aspect to the team collection and looks good on everyone!!

Delfina Sport ensured a smooth process and turnaround time to meet the expectations for South Maroubra’s competition team heading to Aussies on the Sunshine Coast. The team had a great championship and gained some great results! Soon after the championships the team reached out to Delfina again to arrange some cotton tees for their presentation night with a quick turnaround time. Delfina Sport provided South Maroubra SLSC with additional custom commemorative shirts, in a fast and efficient turnaround time for their presentation night.
